Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: License Suspended 10 Times
The following is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from June 10 — 16, 2013.
Saturday, June 15
8:00 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle traveling north on Route 9 and arrested the driver, a 21-year-old Ossining resident, for allegedly driving a vehicle with a suspended registration. A records check also revealed the man had 10 suspensions on his license, according to police. The vehicle was impounded and the man was processed and released on $200 bail. He is due back in court on June 26.
4:45 p.m. — A resident called police and reported her cell phone, an iPhone, had gone missing while she was at a car wash.
Thursday, June 13
2:11 a.m. — Police received a 911 call from an Elm Road resident who reported a family dispute and then hung up. Police called back the residence and did not receive a response. Police then responded to the address and met with the caller outside the home. The caller told police the dispute had been settled.
Wednesday, June 12
9:47 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Route 9A and arrested the driver, a 20-year-old Croton resident, for allegedly driving with a suspended license. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on June 26.
Tuesday, June 11
5:59 pm. — A patrol officer reported an unoccupied car rolling down Scarborough Road. Read more about this report here.
