Pleasantville Police Blotter: Driver Doesn't Pay for Gas

The following information is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from May 20 — 26, 2013:

Saturday, May 25

2:54 a.m. — Police arrested two residents. Read more here.

Friday, May 24

12:42 p.m. — Police received a report from a Century gas station station employee that a driver had left the business without paying for gas. The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, May 23

2:55 p.m. — Police responded to Guion Street, where a resident reported a wheelbarrow had struck a vehicle.

Tuesday, May 21

10:30 p.m. — Police responded to a Bedford Road residence after receiving a report of damaged property. At the scene, officers confirmed that it appeared a tree was struck by a vehicle.

3:13 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Bedford Road and subsequently arrested the driver, a 24-year-old village woman, for allegedly driving without a license.

Monday, May 20

3:15 p.m. — A party went into police headquarters to report a possible identity theft. Police are investigating the claim.
