Pleasantville Police Blotter: Car vs. Sign; Daylight Raccoon Sightings

The following information is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from June 3 — 9, 2013:

Sunday, June 9

5:20 p.m. — A Pleasantville Road resident complained to police that someone had placed a number of items in a neighbor's yard.

Saturday, June 8

10:19 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of an accident on Foxwood Drive, where a vehicle appeared to have struck a street sign. Police said the driver was summonsed at the scene.

9:02 a.m. — A Bedford Road resident reported the home's fence had been damaged overnight. Police said there are currently no suspects.

Tuesday, June 4

11:52 a.m. — Police received a report in headquarters of potential forged checks. The incident is under investigation.

Monday, June 3

12:21 p.m. — Police received a report of a raccoon outside at the Bedford Road School campus. Police reported the animal was disposed of and removed.

8:28 a.m. — Police responded to a Guion Street home after a resident reported spotting a raccoon in the yard. Officers were unable to locate any raccoon.
